we recently premiered a 1 minute and a half teaser trailer of omega at the blender conference. everything, from CG to photographic elements, was composited together and edited in blender.
the responses just blew me away. needless to say we’re going to publish the trailer online on our blog very soon! done!

Woooo!! I missed this at the Blender Conference (was dead asleep), really psyched to finally see it.
It looks fantastic!! Reaallly beautiful, amazing cinematography — how’d you pull off that camera movement at 1:04?

Colin: most of the time we project our keyed footage onto 3D planes to add camera movement after the fact… in this particular case the entire shot is CG made from camera mapped photos :)
