new york concert tour (august 24-30)
August 13th, 2009 by andyehem… a little bit of advertising:
a group of artists of the audiovisual collective ICHIIGAI (!1) from my university is going to tour through new york city from august 24th to 31st!
I’ll be on board too, contributing some visuals, VJing & real-time sonic 3D graphics with blender… as well as some noise/ambient/dub-bass synthesizer stuff.
if you’re in nyc and you’re into electronic music and experimental noise art, check it out! it would be awesome to meet some local blenderheads as well. you can read more about the tour and listen to some tunes on our brand new site: www.ichiigai.net
cheers,

Are you going to use the realtime java app you were writing/testing/playing with at Bconf last year? (If I remember it’s the one that “talks” with BGE) ?
Cheers

hi dalai!
yes, something like that, it’s basically just a processing sketch that sends FFT data into BGE via OSC. unless there’s a better way to get realtime FFT data into the game engine…?
in addition to that i’ll also be using puredata, a hardware video mixer (edirol v-8) and - if the US customs let me bring it in unless they mistake it for a pipe bomb - an electronic didgeridoo.
