Is it the fold inside the DVD?

Can’t wait to get my hands on it!!

  2. CNikiel Says:

Got my copy yesterday and immediately started to watch it.
I guess I will have to slow down the playback at some parts as the modelling parts sometimes a fast. :-)
What I saw so far is truely amazing.

Especially I like the fact that even the errors are recorded AND the way those errors are later corrected.
Most of the time I am prone to make errors and seeing ways to get those cleared again is really helping.

Thank you very much for all the time and effort it must have taken to create this DVD.

    @CNikel, French hmmm?

  4. CNikiel Says:

    @Owen, Nope German.

Somehow I lost sound on 04 enviroment Light Model, there is so much Video left but no more comments.

Only got to this video, so can not say if others show the same.
Would be a shame if the DVDs got wrongly mastered and lost all the comments, as I am sure there was lots of them.

    Got mine yesterday.

All I can say is WOW! Nice to hear the experiences that a Blender Adept goes through. Truly inspirational.

    Great job Andy!

  6. Anthony Says:

I received mine yesterday! Got a chance to open it today and it looks great! Thanks Andy.
One question, did the insert get dropped or is mine just missing that piece?
Also, it is a little fast (as expected). Will there be a Creature Factory forum so we can clarify what is happening at certain times in the clips?

  7. CNikiel Says:

There was no insert in my DVD, but I believe what you see at the top is the Web pages that you can use to navigate to the content.

Some player allow you to slow down the playback which might help a bit.

On blenderartists.org is a thread about creature factory and the missing audio seems to be for everybody.

I hope there will be a download for this video with fixed audio later, but for now I have sooooo much else to watch….. ;-)

  8. Anthony Says:

@CNikiel, then it should be shown in a post titled “Printing” ^_^

  9. Anthony Says:

    Correction:
@CNikiel, if it is a web graphic then it shouldn’t be shown in a post titled “Printing” ^_^

  10. CNikiel Says:

@Anthony, not sure if this “printing” is maybe a term for creating the DVDs?
But Alas I might be wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time ;-)

All I have to say it’s: Thank you, Andy! I received mine yesterday. It’s the best DVD that I bought about the Blender (I have ManCandy, Big Buck Bunny and now Creature factory).

The best thing in the DVD it’s the TimeLapse; It shows all the process to create the animation. Before, I had many questions, that you answered with the DVD.

    Again, thank you!
(sorry about my bad english - I’m brazilian)

Thanks for this good work !

I like the structure, and the detail of the long tutorials, very good sound and video quality.

    What I miss :
    * I think this is common in video tutorials, but show the keystrokes and subtitles is nice. May be this is not a tutorial for the newbie but it helps.

    * Some tuts are quite short

    Apart from that

I have a little problem with one of the blend files that doesn’t render correctly. The sparks of 04-running.blend doesn’t render.
Where I can post on this problem ?
